Curly or wavy hair is always tricky to for taking care of. It's much more than just simple washing, brushing and conditioning. As soon as you brush your hair – it goes wild, doesn't it? It's annoying and there is not much to do about it later but wait for it to settle a bit. Luckily for us with wild curls, there are a few tips to help us in everyday life!
1. Twist wet hair with a towel, instead of rubbing
While drying off your hair with a towel, you should twist your hair and kind of gently just squeeze the water out of your hair, instead of rubbing. Rubbing your hair with a towel will create friction and cause the 'frizz' you don't want.
2. Go easy with the hairbrush
Now, we're not saying you should not brush your hair but curly hair is not compatible with brushing. The solution to this problem could be as simple as buying a wide-toothed comb. That kind of comb won't turn your hair into such a mess and your hair will get back into its natural shape soon after brushing.
3. Get curl creme instead hair serum
Hair serums for dry, dull and damaged hair not helping? No wonder, because your hair isn't really damaged – it just seems like it because your curls are going all over the place. Curl creme will keep your hair looking neat and shiny at all times!
4. Light hold hairspray can help
Using hairspray after you style your hair will keep it in place for days! Event the next day, after sleeping and brushing, your hair will soon get back into its original position and look amazing.
5. Deep conditioning treatment
Deep conditioning is always great for curly hair. It will help you to restore the shine and maybe put some weight into it so the curls don't fly around and drive you crazy. The choice for deep conditioning products is wide, but you don't have to spend a ton of money on them. Cheaper products can work just fine!
